Rejoice

While we are living in such unpredictable and turbulent times I am sure you are thinking I have chosen the wrong word. I say to you God will give us a reason to rejoice.

Do you remember the moment your first child was born. Did you not rejoice? When the first world War ended, people rejoiced.

We are so focused on the negativities we fail to rejoice in the possibilities. Why cry about spilt milk when the cat at your feet is hungry? Don’t you think that cat is rejoicing?

We as a nation need to slow down and rejoice in the possibility that this country can be healed. It begins with every individual, every community. We need to stop being articles of conflict and become bonded again as one nation under God.

Rise each day and look for a new reason to rejoice. Yesterday morning as I sat in my office looking out the window six deer pranced across the back of my lot. I rejoiced at the sight of them. What a beautiful way to start my day.

It is sometimes the tiniest things that can alter our mood or the course of the day. Find a reason to rejoice!

Have an awesome day!

I love art, especially photography and painting. My next addition is crafts or primarily needlecrafts. And as if that was not enough, I am a genealogist.
