I listened to the forecast Friday but knowing the unreliability of the forecasters I really did not put a lot of stock in their prediction. Key word there prediction.
Yes, they said a possible 6-12 inches which in itself was extreme for this area. It started quietly enough. A beautiful dry snowfall seemed innocent enough.
Going to sleep to complete silence in our neighborhood was refreshing. Sometimes during the night I was awake and looked out the back door. Still snowing I could tell it was going to be deep.
The next morning I struggled to get the back door open. Not since 1972 have I seen this much snow here. Welcome to my snow world
