Power Of Positive Energy

Clearly we are in a time of gross negativity. If you think negative, you breed negative energy. I mean you only have to cut your TV on to see proof of that.

I try to distance myself from people and/or things that are negative and lean more towards people who are positive and upbeat. They share their positive energy just by thinking and acting in a positive way.

Most of us have seen in one form or another the power of prayer. In addition to being a spiritual action it is probably the greatest form of positive energy. Lives have been changed and people have been known to be healed that were thought to be dying while surrounded in prayer.

Laughter is another great form of positive energy and is clearly contagious! Even if you don’t feel like it if you force yourself to do it you will find it is great therapy for the “blues”.

Music for me is just one of many ways I am uplifted. It can elevate you to a place of peace and tranquility with the exception maybe of rap and hard rock. Listening to soft or inspirational music can quickly change your mood

Developing your positive energy has a lot of benefits including improving your overall health. There have been cases of people suffering from long term illness that have at least improved their condition by changing their habits or environment.

I’m no guru but I do accupressure, reflexology, music therapy, Tai Chi, and of course prayer. Find positive things, activities and people that bring positive energy to your life. The benefits are amazing.

Have a blessed day.

When God Winks!

You have probably heard the term Godwinks but you may or may not find in your dictionary. Squire Russell who first used the term in one of his books touched on something most of us experience but may not realize it.

Take a moment to really examine your daily life. I don’t mean births, graduations and that kind of thing. I’m talking about those little unexplained moments or periods of time when things appear or happen that can’t be explained through general logic.

Haven’t you ever lost something only to have it reappear in a place where you would have never put it? A check arrives in the mail from an unfamiliar source at a time when you are about to be evicted. Your plans to accept a new job falls through and yet an offer from a source you never considered appears. These are those little miracles referred to as Godwinks.

You don’t have to have a Lazarus event to be reminded that our loving God is always around us. He shows us in these little Godwinks that he provides all things if we just pay attention and acknowledge them.

I have seen a lot of Godwinks in my lifetime. The next time you question how something happened….you may have just been Godwinked!

Have a great day and watch for those Godwinks!
