We have had chickens on our property several times. W..e..ll, over the years not all of our neighbors enjoyed our feathered friends. To set the stage I have to explain our method of raising them is free-range meaning they freely move about during the day and are secured in a coop at night.
Before you jump on the neighbor bandwagon, we didn’t do this just because we didn’t want them in the house. There are two very good reasons to let your chickens free-range. One is because when they feed on the ground, what they are consuming is natural and chemical free. Two, they are greatly reducing the insect population. My yard a few years ago was covered in fire ants, but now there are only a few remaining hills. The benefit to the chickens is that they are happier and their eggs are healthier.

Well, I apologize that the video failed every time I tried to load it, but I worked on every other site.
